About the Course

 

This course is built on a gradual, mindful, and safe approach to learning Nauli.

 

It is suitable for both yoga practitioners and those new to yoga, as well as for yoga teachers who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the work of the abdomen, breath, and inner energy.

 

Contraindications

Post-operative period

 

Less than 6 months after surgery involving the abdominal or pelvic organs
Severe mental health conditions, epilepsy
Serious cardiovascular conditions
(heart failure, coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension)
Venous thrombosis

 

Conditions affecting the abdominal organs

 

Peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum
Acute inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract
(acute gastritis, colitis, pancreatitis, etc.)
Diseases of the liver, kidneys, or pancreas during flare-ups
Gallstones
Kidney stones
Hiatal hernia (esophageal hernia)

 

Hernias, diastasis, surgical interventions

 

Hernias (umbilical, inguinal, abdominal)
Diastasis recti wider than 2.5 cm
Presence of surgical mesh (after hernia repair or diastasis correction)

Gynecological and urological conditions

 

Acute gynecological or urological inflammatory conditions
Tumors (fibroids, cysts, etc.) — practice only with medical approval
Endometriosis — only with a doctor’s permission
Intrauterine device (IUD) — decision must be made by a gynecologist

 

Pregnancy

 

Postpartum period

 

After vaginal birth — not earlier than 6–8 weeks postpartum
After cesarean section — not earlier than 4 months,
only after medical consultation and full healing of the scar

 

Temporary restrictions

 

Menstruation
Severe fatigue, insomnia, nervous exhaustion
Eating less than 3 hours before practice
